Alex Nizzoli

Alex teaches voice, piano, trumpet, french horn, trombone, guitar, ukule, bass, theory, and composition. He graduated from CSU Northridge in 2012 with a Piano degree, but he has also been a singer and a trumpet player his whole life.  He has also studiedfrench horn, trombone, guitar, ukulele, bass, general music theory & composition.  He has been teaching private lessons for over 6 years & can teach a wide variety of styles, everything from classical, jazz, pop/rock, blues, musical theatre, Latin music, world music, etc.

Joshua teaches drums/percussion & piano.He is a sound artist, composer, percussionist, teacher, and record producer based in Los Angeles, California. Joshua has performed in countless recitals and concerts in U.S.A. and Canada and is known for his electro-acoustic drumset improvisations using an original setup which he has developed after recent research in the medium of electro-acoustic music during his Masters studies at CalArts from 2011-2013.Being a professional performer and teacher since the age of 18, he has performed on many different percussion instruments from tabla accompaniment for Pt. Aashish Khan to electro-acoustic percussion with German rock band Faust at REDCAT. As a composer, Joshua has been commissioned by Susan Allen (Asst. Dean CalArts) William Powell (Clarinet Chair CalArts) and Marthe Reed (Creative Writing Chair at LSU) with performances in Theartre 80 New York, University of Central Florida, Arizona State University, and The Lite Venue in Louisianna. As a recording artist, Joshua has released over 10 electro-acoustic albums on a series of net labels including: H.L.M. (France), Somehow Recordings (London), with reviews by Silent Ballet, Kultur Industrialna (Poland), Norman Records, and Linus Records (Japan).

Joshua Carro

Laurie Melan is an award winning composer and songwriter who for the last 12 years worked in postproduction composing for film and TV for such shows as “That 70’s Show”,” IFL”, “Duel Masters“ and others. She teaches guitar, harmonica, & recorder.   Originally from Boston, Laurie started playing guitar at the age of 13, by the time she was 17 she was teaching guitar and harmonica at a local music store and soon found herself carrying over 20 students a week. In addition to teaching she was performing all throughout the Boston area with various bands. She studied with multiple private guitar instructors and is accomplished in many musical genres, including; rock/pop/blues/classical/swing/jazz/slide/open tunings/country, etc. She is an accomplished diatonic harmonica player as well and teaches in the styles of all the greats, such as; Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Lee Oskar, Charlie MCoy, Sonny Terry, Paul Butterfield just to name a few.  She continues to write for TV & film, play sessions and perform, & she has also won awards for SESAC Top Rated Television Series “That 70’s Show,” SESAC Syndiated/local Televion       “That 70’s Show,” SESAC Network Television “That 70’s Show” 

Laurie Melan

Kevin Lopez

 Kevin teaches drums/percussion, guitar, bass guitar, and piano. Kevin Lopez is a touring and recording drummer/percussionist in the LA area. He is well versed in a multitude of genres and styles such as jazz, fusion, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, R'nB, funk, pop, and standard rock. Kevin is also trained in music theory and stresses the implementation and integration of these concepts in practical applications. Kevin also was an adjunct drumset instructor/jazz technician at Simi Valley High School.

Kevin has had the great fortune to study with Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr/sessions), Al Velasquez (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Benise), Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa, Dancing with the Stars), and Walfredo Reyes Jr. (Santana). Kevin has also had the great fortune to perform/work with Chalo Eduardo, (Santana, Stevie Wonder), Brian Kilgore (Barbra Streisand, Elton John), Jerry Steinholtz (Diana Ross, Motown sessions), Scheila Gonzalez (Zappa Plays Zappa), Ron Stout (Tom Kubis), Joe Retta (The Sweet), Stuart Smith (The Sweet), Jasmin Poncelet (featured Fender artist), Jerry Salas (El Chicano), Paul Butcher (Zoey 101, American Dad, and more), Portable Payback and more. Kevin has performed at many noted venues such as The El Rey Theatre, The Roxy Theatre, Whisky a Go Go, UCLA, Cal State San Bernardino, University of Nevada-Reno, Ventura Theater, Ronald Reagan Library, Rubicon Theatre, Santa Barbara Country Days (televised), USS Intrepid, and many other venues across the nation. Kevin (along with the Mark Cross Band) have also opened for pop star and TV sensation Drake Bell.

Kevin has just concluded a 2nd national tour with the pop rock group "Mark Cross Band" with whom they've been featured on numerous television and radio stations. He has recorded two full length albums and several EPs with the Mark Cross Band. Kevin performs regularly in LA and also does session work often. Kevin is also a well trained audio engineer. He produces, records, mixes, and masters work for different clients.

In addition to playing drums/percussion, Kevin can also double on guitar, bass, piano, and voice.

Jared teaches cello, violin, & theory & composition.

Cassie Olah

Cassie teaches sax, clarinet, flute, oboe, bsddoon, piano, guitar, & thepry & composition.
